Job Position: Director of Operations

Location: Head Office, Mississauga, ON.

Job Description

The Director of Operations oversees all aspects of operations of stores within the brand:
  • Works in concert with company strategy and culture to ensure that targets established for sales, profit and guest experience are met.
  • Manages and develops District Managers to meet these goals and ensure continual operational effectiveness.
  • Ensures high corporate standards for operations, food quality and guest experience are met at all locations. Responsible for the development, implementation, execution and review of strategies to increase guest experience through the effective management of a team of District Managers.
  • Promotes and preserves chain standards. Ensures consistency in presentation of product, set up of promotions and store cleanliness standards.
  • Coaches, develops and instills a development culture in all stores. Ensures training and development goals are set and met.
Job Requirements

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Proven leadership and problem solving skills, as well as solid record of delivering results
  • A thorough understanding of retail sales, profit performance, consumer buying habits and merchandising, as well as the ability to organize, prioritize, delegate, and coordinate multi-store operations.
  • Multi-unit or significant operational/volume experience.

Job Position: District Manager

Location: Head Office

Job Description

The District Manager oversees all aspects of operations for a geographic group of stores in their area:
  • Works in concert with Company strategy and culture to ensure that targets established for sales, profit and guest delight are met.
  • Develops store and district teams to meet these goals and ensure continual operational effectiveness.
  • Maintains high levels of guest satisfaction. Models and instills guest satisfaction as the primary role of store personnel. Reviews guest satisfaction indicators, develops strategies to improve satisfaction, monitors execution to ensure that satisfaction strategies are implemented correctly.
  • Maintains high levels of Product & Service Quality. Promotes and preserves chain standards. Ensures consistency in presentation of product, set up of promotions and store cleanliness standards.

Job Position: Restaurant General Manager

Location: Several locations across Ontario.

Job Description

  • The Restaurant General Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of a Crabby Joe's location and ensures that sales targets, profitability, guest satisfaction and operational excellence is meeting corporate standards at all times.
  • Responsible for every guest of the restaurant receiving the best experience possible. Models and instills a culture of being guest focused.
  • Regularly monitors, reports on and reviews key financials and performance indicators. Creates and executes successful action plans where necessary.
  • Ensures that brand standards for product and food quality, food safety, service, cleanliness, maintenance and health and safety are being met at all times.
  • Ensures consistency in presentation of product, set up of promotions and store appearance. Promotes and preserves all chain standards.
  • Continually finds opportunities to develop managers and staff through effective coaching and communication.
  • Works in concert with a District Manager to develop and execute strategies to continually improve sales, profitability, service, food quality and timing and operational performance.
Job Requirements

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Proven leadership and problem solving skills, as well as solid track record of delivering timely results.
  • Ability to grow sales and profitability.
  • A solid understanding of sales, profit performance, inventory procedures and analysis, as well as the ability to develop and execute action plans based on that analysis with direction from a District Manager.
  • Potential to effectively run both Front-of-House and Back-of-House and lead all shifts to brand standards.
  • Driven and focused. Passion for people and service excellence.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and develop people.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and of POS systems.
  • Good understanding of AGCO, OHSA, ESA regulations and standards.
  • Previous restaurant management experience.
