see it from the outside signage to the inside décor. The whole
concept is designed to give customers a great visit with delicious taste
and warm surroundings.
When many people hear the word “Marketing” they think of one
activity, advertising. But advertising is just one of a number of marketing
activities. Marketing is a management activity similar to financial management.
The difference is that while you protect your revenue through financial
management, you attract customers and increase sales levels through marketing.
Both are necessary if you wish to achieve long term profits.
Obsidian Group Inc. develops Crabby Joe’s national marketing programs,
of advertising, promotions, and works with individual franchisees to establish
Local Restaurant Marketing goals and plans. Working, collaboratively the
Director of Operations and the Director of Marketing develop all menu
and food promotions. A wide array of exclusive Crabby Joe’s merchandise
is also offered to meet customer demand. Through a cooperative effort
between our marketing department and outside agencies Obsidian Group Inc.
expands consumer awareness of Crabby Joe’s through trade name recognition,
with the aim of enhancing restaurant sales.
Franchisees are also provided with Obsidian Group Inc.’s confidential
“Marketing Manual” which provides a step by step program for
franchisees to develop their “Local Restaurant Marketing”
plans. It includes detailed directions and forms for conducting a comprehensive
“Market Analysis”, for determining “Opportunities”,
for setting “Goals”, developing “Local Marketing Plans”
and evaluating “Execution” of those plans.
Franchisees must submit all Local Restaurant Advertising and Promotions
to Obsidian Group Inc. for approval. This system of co-operation allows
us to build on past successes and work together to create new successful
marketing approaches.
